DÍA 1: LLEGADA Y EL ENGAÑO DEL CHALET PERFECTO (con un toque de frustración)
- 14:00 - 15:00: ¡Llegada! El tren desde Zurich (¡más retrasado que mi abuela a una boda!). Por un momento, pensé que me había equivocado de país. Todo tan…ordenado. ¡Pero bueno, llegamos! El hotel…¡Uf! Fotos perfectas online. En la vida real… el “chalet” era un poco menos "mágico" y un pelín más "necesita una mano de pintura". Pero ¡eh! Las vistas… Las malditas vistas… ¡Impresionantes!
- 15:00 - 16:00: Check-in. La recepcionista, una chica con acento suizo que juro que hablaba con las montañas, me dio la llave. ¡Y me sonrió! Me pregunto si es un truco que usan para que te sientas bien después de un viaje en tren que te sacude las tripas.
- 16:00 - 17:00: Exploración de la habitación. Limpia, eso sí. Pero…¡el problema de la maleta! Siempre es el problema de la maleta. ¿Dónde meto todo? ¿Por qué me traje TRES pares de botas de montaña? ¡Inútil!
- 17:00 - 18:00: El Balcón. Un balcón con vistas. ¡Mierda santa! Ya empiezo a entender por qué todo el mundo ama Suiza. Respiré profundo, me dije a mi misma: "tranquila, esto va a ser bueno".

- 10:00 - 11:00: Un pequeño incidente. El “Titlis Cliff Walk”… Un puente colgante. ¡Ay, no! ¡La pánico! Me agarré a la barandilla como si mi vida dependiera de ello. ¡Y lo hacía! Casi me da un soponcio. Vi a un niño de 5 años haciéndolo sin problemas. ¡La vergüenza!

¡Ay, Engelberg! Déjame que te diga... Cuando me dijeron "Engelberg", mi mente pensó directa a postales aburridas, ¿sabes? Montañas majestuosas, sí, pero ¿qué más? Bueno, sorpresa. Es como si la Suiza de los cuentos de hadas hubiera cobrado vida, pero sin la cursilería excesiva. El aire, ¡el aire! Limpio como un cristal. La gente, amable... A veces demasiado amable, ¡como si estuvieran entrenados para sonreír! Pero es bueno, eh. Es como un respiro de la locura del mundo. Aparte de los Alpes, claro, que son la estrella del show. Pero hay más, mucho más. El pueblo mismo tiene un encanto... Es tranquilo, pero bullicioso a la vez, si me entiendes. Hay ese olor a queso y chocolate flotando en el aire... ¡me dan ganas de comerme todo! ¡Y las vistas! Desde cualquier ventana, desde cualquier balcón... ¡ay, Dios mío!
Ah, y la nieve. Inviernos de ensueño. Verano igualmente impresionante para practicar senderismo y actividades al aire libre. No te aburrirás, créeme. Engelberg es mucho más de lo que parece en las fotos.
¿Qué tal el hotel "ideal" que promocionan? ¿Realmente es tan ideal? ¿O es un cliché más?
¡Ah, el hotel! (Respiro profundo, porque esto es importante). Mira, "ideal" es una palabra grande, ¿no? Depende de qué esperes. Yo, personalmente, soy bastante quisquilloso. Odio los hoteles con moqueta gastada y duchas que no funcionan. ¡Pesadilla! Me gusta el buen café, las vistas bonitas, y que no me cobren por el wifi. ¿Este hotel? Bueno, no es perfecto. Una vez, el ascensor se atascó... ¡me dio un ataque de pánico! Pero, por lo demás, es... *bastante* bueno. Las habitaciones son acogedoras, la comida es deliciosa (¡ese desayuno! ¡Un festín!), y las vistas... ¡madre mía, las vistas! Me quedé embobado mirando las montañas durante horas. Literalmente. Perdí tiempo valioso de mi viaje mirando por la ventana. Pero no me arrepiento. ¿Es ideal? Casi. Le doy un 8.5/10. Por el ascensor atascado le quito puntos. ¡Ja!
¿Hay cosas que hacer además de esquiar o hacer senderismo? Soy un poco... vago.
¡Vago, eh? No te juzgo... A veces yo también. Bueno, aparte de esos deportes que requieren esfuerzo físico (esquí, senderismo... ugh), hay cosas para los menos activos. Por ejemplo, el teleférico a Titlis. ¡Impresionante! Subes a las alturas y te quedas sin aliento... (literalmente, por la altitud, pero también por la belleza). Puedes caminar por el puente colgante más alto de Europa (¡para los valientes!). Hay cuevas de hielo... si te gusta pasar frío... Y luego está el pueblo. Puedes pasear por las tiendas, comprar souvenirs (¡cuidado con los precios!), tomarte un chocolate caliente en una terraza (¡obligatorio!), o simplemente sentarte a observar a la gente. Eso es lo que hago yo a veces... es gratis y entretenido. O puedes ir al spa del hotel, si te gusta que te mimen. Yo nunca lo he hecho, ¡demasiado caro! Pero creo que es una opción... Por cierto en los museos no sé, no me gustan. Y menos si están lejos.
¿Es caro? La Suiza es famosa por ser... cara.

El hotel ideal (que no es ideal, ya lo dijimos) a veces tiene buenas promociones. Comida: compra en supermercados y prepárate bocadillos. Comer en restaurantes es un lujo. Transporte: usa el transporte público (es eficiente, pero pagas). Y luego, lo más importante: prepárate mentalmente para gastar. No te estreses por cada franco suizo. Disfruta. Al final, ¿qué importa el dinero? La experiencia es lo que cuenta. Y las fotos que vas a subir a Instagram, claro (risas). Pero de verdad, es posible gastar menos si eres un poco organizado y no te dejas llevar por los caprichos. Aunque, un chocolate caliente, ¡hay que probarlo!

¿Cómo llegar desde el aeropuerto de Zurich? ¿Es fácil?
Llegar desde Zúrich es bastante fácil, en realidad. Pensaba que iba a ser un lío, con trenes y estaciones de tren y billetes y... bueno, ya sabes. Pero no, es bastante sencillo. Primero, llegas al aeropuerto de Zúrich (ZRH). Luego, sigues las indicaciones hacia la estación de tren... que está *literalmente* en el aeropuerto. No te puedes perder. Compras un billete de tren directo a Engelberg. Mira, te dejo que busques las tarifas en línea o en la estación, no tengo todas las respuestas. Y te subes al tren. ¡Y listo!
